MAG CAM1000X-N
The MAG-CAM1000x-N evaluation platform offers the simplest and fastest way to evaluate Magics’ radiation-hardened camera technology. By integrating all the key components of the Vision series into a compact, lightweight unit, it eliminates the need for complex setups or separate component sourcing.
The platform comes with a metallized housing that includes a heat sink and a lens mount, providing a straightforward, plug-and-play approach. Connecting to power is simple, and data transfer is handled via CoaXPress (CXP), enabling high-speed, efficient operation right out of the box.
Key components include:

- MAG-IMG002X1-NC: Full HD CMOS radiation-hardened image sensor
- MAG-PSU00001-NP: Radiation-hardened DC/DC converter
- MAG-CXP00002-NP: CoaXPress serializer IC
- MAG-DRV00002-NP: Driver IC
These are integrated on stacked PCBs within the housing, allowing the camera to capture Full HD images or video at up to 40 fps and transmit data over a 75-ohm coax cable.
