The ScioSense contactless ultrasonic flow sensor technology, on which the module is based, eliminates the need for rotors and other mechanical components seen in conventional Hall sensor-based flow sensors. When used in accordance with datasheet specifications, the ultrasonic UFM modules have an unlimited lifespan and no moving parts.
