PMT Privacy Statement

Credit Application & Processing

Orders can be placed using credit cards issued by a USA bank, wire transfer, or on credit (once approved by PMT)

Standard Credit Terms: Net 30 Days

If your company would like to set up a Net 30 account with Precision Measurement Technology LLC, you may provide your trade reference sheet or PMT Credit Application from our website:

• All fields are to be completed, email addresses are required for references and the application is to be signed.
• If you would like to submit your own credit reference sheetm please be sure all information is current so that we may process your application as quickly as possible. Email addresses are required for references.
• Please allow up to 10 business days from when the credit application is received for an account to be set up. If your order needs to be received sooner, we do accept credit card payments.
• Please email completed credit application or trade reference sheet to Sales@pmt-fl.com.

Placing an Order

The PMT website cannot accommodate orders at this time. Please contact Sales@pmt-fl.com for assistance. Shipments are not insured unless requested by the customer. Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes incurred on a shipment as well as any wire transfer fees associated with the order.

Order Processing

Once we have received and processed your order, PMT will email you an Acknowledgement listing your ship date. We will also email you a copy of the invoice and tracking number when your order ships. Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. All shipments are subject to inventory availability.

Blanket Purchase Orders must state all products to be delivered in a 12-month period starting from the first release date with a maximum of 6 releases over the period. Parts cannot be rescheduled within 30 days of a scheduled release date. If 90% of the total amount of product is not released to be delivered over a 12-month period, The Company will bill the difference in piece price from the purchase order price versus the actual quantity delivered.

No terms or conditions on the Buyer’s purchase order or any other instrument, agreement or understanding shall be binding on Precision Measurement Technologies LLC unless agreed to in writing.

Pricing

Pricing is based on the exchange rate (Euro) as of the date of this quote and is subject to change based on exchange rate fluctuations. Once an order has been confirmed, all payments are to be made with U.S. currency and are due in accordance with the terms extended.

Shipping Methods & Charges

Our standard carriers are UPS and FedEx. Other carriers are available for an additional fee/charge. Shipping charges are displayed at checkout and on the Acknowledgement and are determined by the delivery time (ground, 2-day, next day), size and weight of the package. A nominal shipping and handling charge is also included in the shipping charges.

Shipments are not insured unless requested by the customer.

Shipments are Incoterms EX WORKS, and title to goods passes to Buyer upon delivery to carrier.

For International Orders, the customer is responsible for all international shipping charges, taxes and duties incurred.

Sales Taxes

Precision Measurement Technologies requires a valid Tax-Exempt certificate on file for all customers who are tax exempt in advance of order processing, otherwise we are required by law to add sales tax to your order.

Additionally, Precision Measurement Technologies is obligated by law to collect sales tax for any order that has previously shipped, that should have been charged sales tax and was not. If the Buyer is charged sales tax in error the Buyer must notify PMT within 14 days of the invoice date to receive a credit. After 14 days the sales tax cannot be refunded.

Product Warranty

Precision Measurement Technololgies conferes the factory warranty on components sold against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product fails to perform within recommended specifications within 1 year of shipment, please contact sales@pmt-fl.com.

Precision Measurement Technologies shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Customers shall hold PMT harmless of all damages and costs whether based on tort or breach of contract and/or warranty.

Returns

To return a product, call (727-532-6144) or email your request to sales@pmt-fl.com to obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

No product shall be returned without prior authorization (RMA). If authorized, the transportation charges shall be prepaid to Precision Measurement Technologies, Clearwater, FL. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

All custom parts are subject to a 100% restocking fee. Standard parts are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Security

Precision Measurement Technologies is committed to protecting your credit card and company information against misuse. Credit card information provided is encrypted using 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and transmitted to Authorize.net’s transaction server. We do not store credit card information on our server and promptly destroyed.

Privacy

Contact information is used to process orders and send information about Precision Measurement Technologies products to our customers. We do not share or sell contact information. Users can cancel subscription to our newsletter at any time by sending your request to marketing@pmt-fl.com. Our privacy policy is viewable online via the Terms & Conditions page on our website.

Liability

Precision Measurement Technologies is not an expert in the customer’s technical field and therefore does not guarantee the suitability of components selected for the application chosen by the customer. Accordingly, Precision Measurement Technologies assumes no liability in applications where failure of this product could result in personal injuries or death.

Compliance with Economic Sanctions and Export Controls

Customer acknowledges that the Products and related technical data and services are subject to the economic sanctions and export control laws of the United States, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and economic sanctions regulations of the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Customer agrees to comply with all relevant laws concerning export controls and economic sanctions, and will not export, re-export, or transfer the Products or related technical data and services in contravention of U.S. or other applicable law. Customer agrees not to export, re-export, or transfer the Products or related technical data and services to any restricted country or territory (including, as of the date of this Agreement, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria), entity, or person for which an export license or other governmental approval is required, unless such license or authorization has been properly obtained and the Company has given prior written approval.

Dodd-Frank Act:

Our suppliers are required to be compliant with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act. We require all materials purchased to be free of the DRC Conflict Minerals as outlined within the Act.

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Buyer and Precision Measurement Technologies and no revision or amendment shall be binding unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Precision Measurement Technologies.
